just completed a mural in DC

It was an ideal situation. I worked for Rick Massumi. He is a lawyer who works for musicians in his free time, organizing a couple of movements (http://www.hearmountpleasant.org/testimony/music_letter.php and http://www.ncta.net/index2.htm). He had an unusually clear idea of what he wanted and could tell me how to modify my sketch to make it more lively (by adding clouds with thick paint, which I never would have done). I worked on a large scale, which was refreshing.

Finished it in one and a half days.

I have been working from the suburbs for some time now, venturing into the city infrequently. There are a bunch of people around, but not many conversations. I miss my friends from college, who were once so easy to get in touch with.

It is time to start journal writing again.
